Science in Lausanne
Lausanne, on the shore of Lake Geneva, is the home of EPFL, one of Switzerland's two federal institutes of technology. Its Swiss Plasma Center operates the TCV tokamak, a machine for studying the extremely hot plasma that fusion energy research depends on.
Lausanne.science will follow plasma physics and fusion, the wider EPFL campus and the city's place in the Swiss research system.
